Week 10

Session 1: Today concept summary #6 is due. Please be prepared to discuss the key concepts from the reading in class. The rest of the time today we will cover the requirements for the final project. This project involves sketching out the functionality of a interactive application through a series of wireframes.

Assignment #5 Online Take-out Web Application Wireframes (15 points)
Due: Week 11, Session 2 (Beginning of class)

Use your understanding of user-centered interface design to outline the functionality of a web-based application for ordering take-out food from a restaurant. Write a one-page summary of the site’s purpose and features. Next design a series of wireframes (minimum of six) to illustrate the steps necessary for a customer to order and pay for take-out food. Use the landscape mode to design each wireframe to illustrate a desktop, laptop, or tablet computer screen. Take into account the possibilities of multiple menus, multiple item quantities, changes to the shopping cart, different billing versus delivery addresses, and user error.

Session 2: Today I will be reviewing your work so far on the web application wireframes. Please be prepared to show the following:
