It’s weird you can never get away from sound. The sound of a nervous system’s electricity at a certain frequency, I swear there’s times I’ve heard it. I certainly wasn’t in an anechoic chamber but it was very quiet. I really don’t remember any low pitch rumblings (blood pumping) though…

You’re a good teacher, I decided to use wordpress as a back end for the final project. I have never used wordpress before really, so it is all new for me.

Hi John! I graduated from the Associates program in Interactive Media Design in September ‘06 and currently work for Electronic Arts as a User Interface Designer/Artist. For a little over a year I have been working on a game called Spore. I haven’t incorporated any of that work into my portfolio yet, but intend to once the game is released in the Spring of ‘08. I learned so much from your classes, John, and am happy to see how you change your curriculum based on the changes going on in the industry. Kudos to you!

My portfolio is a simple html site, where I wanted to push simple design and let the work speak for itself (though it is long overdue for an overhaul). Currently I work for Fredrickson Communications, as a web developer. I work primarily with flash on e-learning projects for companies such as Target. 3m, Ameriprise, Aveda, and many more.

Hey Keston - I graduated September 2007. I’m currently a designer at an ad agency-Periscope. I’ve always got a handful of personal & freelance projects going on. My portfolio up now is a showing of both freelance & Periscope work from the past year.

Long time, no talk! Anyhow, I am not quite sure if this would qualify or not, but I thought I’d send it just in case. Or you can just see what I’ve been doing all of this time…I haven’t been able to focus on my website work for a little while due to a huge ramp up in the last 6 months at my full-timer…but am working on a bunch of new things now.

I loved your classes! I’m working as a freelance digital tech (retouching, layering, compositing) but I’ve managed to keep up a plethora of small personal projects in web development. I’m sure I could have learned more, but I almost never write anything without some PHP in it. I’m addicted.

For alignment, I really like firebug–I know you have already mentioned it. It doesn’t let you save out your edits, but you can make minor adjustments or troubleshoot with ease. The only caution I have is that it interferes with Gmail. I have had Gmail unable to delete spam, etc when firebug is on–I don’t know what causes this but it’s best to turn off Gmail when starting up firebug.
